Peter Buetikofer & Company's job was to anchor the core values of the new brand, and the services which stand behind it, in the Swiss media. For this purpose we created, in cooperation with DHL Corporate Communications, a media starter kit.

This 36 page brochure contains all basic information about DHL: from the foundation of the company in 1969 to the integration in 2003. It also contains additional background information on the express and logistics sectors for journalists.

In a second step we reinforced this information in one-on-one meetings with the editorial staff of the most important Swiss media. DHL Express clearly made its opinion known during consultations on the state of the Swiss parcel market and as the market began to be opened up. The result: journalists now know the background of the courier, express and parcel markets. Armed with this information they were and are better able to evaluate the arguments of the Swiss Post monopoly and of other private competitors.
