Typically the publication process goes through five phases: in a first phase, Helbling defines the subject of a particular publication and prepares draft texts. At the same time PB&C obtains offers from the printers and agrees the date of publication with Helbling. In the second phase, PB&C edits the draft texts. Parallel to this PB&C's in-house graphic design agency (Tricom) prepares the visuals for the various articles. In the next phase the edited texts are sent back to their authors for checking. After the texts have been approved, the layout phase begins. Finally PB&C coordinates the printing process and dispatch.

Helblings publications are targeted at senior management of Swiss and German companies. These managers have very little time. Therefore, when they read something it has to be good. PB&C ensures that the Helbling texts are appealing both in look and content.
